Slug Watch: Nothing happened

I hesitate to write this blog because it is essentially boring. The comfrey seems to be working because there isn’t any slug damage to report. So that’s that. I want some lone slug renegade to come forward and challenge my theory but it doesn’t seem to be happening. They all seem to be happy eating the decomposing comfrey I’ve left around the edges of my veggie patch. It has been raining at night but not excessively so I still need some really heavy rain to put the theory to the test in very damp conditions.
