Every month at the Wales Co-operative Centre we bring people together to talk about community led housing. It’s a chance to chat to others about your project, find out what everyone else is doing, offer mutual support and hear interesting speakers. This week we have a guest speaker talking about One Planet Development and another about the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act. Both are unique to Wales.
After talking with Shann Jones of Chuckling Goat, and Beth Maiden of Little Red Tarot I’m very pleased to say creative business coach Kayte Ferris will be joining me on Wednesday in the third part of my three part series of webinars for Newtown Enterprise Hub focussing on online business models. Kayte Ferris has created the Simple and Season brand to promote her values based approach to running small business. Her podcast Grow with Soul is a reflective space for her to share soulful conversations with people who are reaching out on their own, trying to create a new business and a better relationship with their work. I think there’s something for all of us to learn from her approach, both in terms of how to make the most of our online content but also how to identify what you really want and work towards that rather than working towards what other people say are the shoulds. Excited to say that I’m interviewing Beth Maiden of Little Red Tarot and Lizzie Spikes and Becky Barratt of Driftwood Designs tomorrow.
