I know its perverse but I really needed a wet night to see if the slugs would move from the comfrey into the veg patch. Actually its really wet tonight but I’ve just been up there and they’re loving the comfrey and ignoring my plants. Which if it stays like that until the morning shows that the comfrey method works in wet conditions as well as dry.
